A 57 year old male, complaining of exophthalmos, disturbance of ocular motility and visual acuity in the right eye, was admitted under the diagnosis of orbital tumor. The tumor was removed by Kranlein procedure and verified as glioma microscopically.
The following seven months period of postoperative observations revealed degenerative changes in the . retina, atrophy of the optic nerve and enophthlmos in the affected side but no signs of recurrence.
